'Where’s the Life Raft? How to close the security gap from AI adoption'

AI adoption is accelerating and transforming the financial services sector, one tool at a time. These tools are now deeply embedded into daily workflows and growing by the day. The question is how they are being used?. Security operations (SecOps) teams have their hands full just trying to keep up.

Existing controls were not designed for this level of AI proliferation. The result? Growing blind spots, fragmented oversightand diminishing confidence in where sensitive data is flowing and being processed. The SecOps problem is already stretched, services are now drowning in alerts, dashboards and tool sprawl from accelerated adoption. AI threatens to make SecOps job even harder if we do not adopt AI to assist and to deliver more autonomous detection to protection. As the attack surface widens, many adversaries are using AI tools to scale sophisticated, personalised, highly authentic attacks at extremely low cost and high volumes.

With nearly half of security professionals claiming to experience at least some level of burnout, without the life raft, AI accelerated adoption could overwhelm our defences. . Generative AI is used to improve attack confidence score and lower false positives. It is now essential to cross-correlate so many more data points to validate authenticity and origination. Only half (54%) of CEOs in financial services feel their business are “well prepared for a cyber attack”.

So where do we go from here? To better understand how your Security teams can close the widening AI security gap, join CloudGuard and a select group of your peers for an evening of lively chat and industry insight. We’ll discuss how to:

·        Close the visibility gaps created by rapid tool adoption

·        Reduce alert fatigue without reducing protection

·        Manage AI threats and data exposure in a post-DORA world

Taking back control doesn’t come from buying another tool. Control comes from clarity, not quantity.
