RANT is a unique group of new and old security enthusiasts and industry stalwarts. The unique way that there is no reverence for the sponsors makes the venue more honest and less sycophantic than anything else I’ve seen out there.
Fun, food, philosophical debate, marvellous.
Since first being told about RANT I can say I have been educated, challenged, and entertained by the speakers, events, chosen topics, and fellow attendees. I never hesitate to recommend RANT to relevant colleagues and I look forward to the next one.
I see RANT events as a corner stone of the cyber/infosec community. I’ve met so many people through these events and they have certainly helped me with public speaking and networking. Anyone who has not been to one I cannot recommend attending one enough.
RANT is a great source of information and well informed peers. By the simple act of joining RANT and attending an event gives you access to a wealth of warm, welcoming and friendly people with different view points to help you think more critically. In a world where everyone is after a small soundbite, RANT is a welcome break from the normal allowing for a proper discussion on topics, not just opinions crammed in to 140 characters.
